So this sounds fun? Sign up on the forums and start talking to people in the community. Become a member of the Heroic organization and gain access to members-only areas. Find and contact a chapter near you, or if you are adventurous even consider starting a chapter. Think about what style of campaign interests you. We're looking forward to meeting you.
Helpful Hints
*Don't be afraid to get involved. Everybody was a new player once and are more than happy to help out.
*While good costuming is always nice, don't freak out about it on your first event, it can develop as your character develops.
*Many chapters offer discounts on their prices if you register early so make sure to sign up in advance.
*Joining a group of other adventures is a great way to learn things and stay safe. There is strength in numbers.
*Make sure to reread the combat rules. Player safety is important and injuries are more likely if you don't follow the rules in the heat of combat.
*Ask on the forums if members at your local chapter can schedule a practice day so you can check out HIT before coming to a full event.
