Shattered Nexus

There exists an desert oasis referred to as the Nexus where anomalies and weird happenings occur. Some disregard it as superstition or folk tales, but the wise claim that the barriers between dimensions is weakest here. Five local nations of power have put aside their differences and signed an agreement to jointly maintain, patrol, and defend this Nexus, and in turn the rest of the world, from any threat, real or imagined. These Sanctioned nations send out their bravest warriors, their most curious explorers, or their most expendable fools to man the defenses and be on alert...for anything.
