A Heroic Chapter is a group of individuals with the sanction to run Heroic Interactive Theatre events. Heroic Interactive Theatre has a contract with each Chapter Director which gives them certain rights, including the right to run events, create Games, nominate staff and assign awards in the name of the organization.

Each Chapter is made up of the Chapter Director, the Logistics Manager, the Properties Master, and their supporting staff. The CD has the responsibility of keeping the overall chapter running, maintaining good relations with other chapters, scheduling events, and overseeing staffing, marketing, outreach, and operations.

The Prop Master maintains the properties that belong to the Chapter, including weapons, costumes, sets, and special effects. The Prop Master also oversees the support staff responsible for creating and setting up the properties for the Chapter.

The Logistics Manager oversees the logistical staff of the Chapter. The Logistics Manager is responsible for keeping both the financial and game reports of the Chapter up to date, including character updates and income and expense records.

Each Chapter may run one or more Games, each under a Head of Plot. The arrangement between the Chapter Director and the Head of Plot can vary, and the Game may be the property of either. The HoP is usually responsible for staffing decisions of the Game Staff, and while the HoP serves, their decision is final over all aspects of the Game.
