Satellite Chapters

Satellite chapters' major responsibility is to learn how to run the game: rules, policies, tools, plot, campaign, player service. This tier is also for people who are working with a parent chapter and who don't want the responsibility of being a full chapter.

Satellite Chapters, Responsibilities:
Work with their parent Chapter to run quality Games, develop their own resources, and train their staff.
Develop into a Full Chapter if that is the mission of the Satellite.
Contribute 5% to 25% of public and private event earnings to the general budget of Heroic Interactive Theatre.
Maintain clear lines of communication with Heroic Members who participate in their Games.
Reasonably meet published goals, including executing schedule as published.
Abide by the Policies of Heroic Interactive Theatre.

Satellite Chapters, Privileges:
Schedule and run official Heroic Events, including awarding of event days and issuing tags and coin under the supervision of the Parent Chapter's Logistics Manager.
Draw as salary for Senior Chapter Staff up to an equivalent amount of event earnings contributed to the general budget of HIT.
Develop into a Full Chapter if that is the mission of the Satellite.
Assign awards to staffers and contributors according to Heroic Policy.
Create and run Heroic Games.

Full Chapters

Full chapters' major responsibility is to grow their game, and learn the nuances of the organization. This is the point where they join our tradition, connect with chapters other than their parent chapter, become important within their campaign and the game at large, and begin to contribute to discussions of the direction of the game. They should begin to develop services to the overall group at this point: contributing to the properties exchange, analyzing rules, helping with conventions, etc.

Full Chapters, Responsibilities:
Meet commitments to Members, Satellite Chapters and Heroic Interactive Theatre, including executing schedule as published.
Run quality Games, develop their own resources, and train their staff.
Work with HIT to promote the Chapter in the local area.
Maintain positive and cooperative relationships with other Chapters, particularly those nearest.
Contribute 10% to 25% of public and private event earnings to the general budget of Heroic Interactive Theatre.
Maintain clear lines of communication with Heroic Members who participate in their Games.

Create and run Heroic Games.

Voting Chapters

Voting chapters' responsibilities have greatly grown. They need to be leaders in service and organizing new projects to promote the game. They need to regularly sponsor new chapters and set up satellite organizations in nearby cities, towns and campuses. They should be active on the properties exchange and of course the Rules Committee. They should be leaders in their campaign and regularly be present at neighboring games (not just the staff, but the players as well).

Stakeholder Chapters

Stakeholders should be leaders in the national organization. They should be supporting games even outside of their campaigns and regions, taking time to provide training, write articles, and assist new chapters through their initial forays with the Rules Committee. They should help organize major cons, national and regional events, and new initiatives to improve the community. They should organize outreach to other organizations.
